A 1992 graduate from SKEMA Lille, Béatrice HINGREZ founded SPEEDWAY SARL in April, 2011. She tells us about her rich and diversified career.

SPEEDWAY specializes in supplying and creating non-flammable fabrics and curtains for fitting-rooms in chains of ready-to-wear stores, showcases and special events.

"After working for other people for 16 years, I wanted to launch out on my own to propose "technical" fabrics that are beautiful, innovative and decorative.

I in fact spent 2 years working as a financial consultant at the Banque Scalbert Dupont Groupe CIC, then 9 years for an industrial household linen manufacturer, the Groupe VANDERSCHOOTEN (in charge of the personalized household textile department), then 5 years in LA REDOUTE's central purchasing department (product manager/household linen buyer).
I am convinced that making fitting rooms look "just like home" is decisive for both male and female customers when they are buying clothes. I offer lots of novelties in my products (finishes, fabrics, colours, recycled fibres…). Customers are receptive and I am constantly trying to propose new items!"

And, as the icing on the cake, SPEEDWAY recently won the 6th FCE trophy ("Femmes Chef d'Entreprise") "Elles créent en Nord Pas-de-Calais" in November, 2011!
