Who is this for?
Anyone who is considering retraining or who has already initiated a career change process. This workshop is for career coaching only!
Overall aim of the workshop:
- Find out what science teaches us about the psychological processes that kick in when you’re planning a change in your career situation (wants and fears, energy and procrastination, etc.)
- Recognise, experience and support yourself through the steps of this process to be successful in your career change
- Make progress in your personal positioning with your objectives, anchors and things to watch out for…
- The right questions to ask yourself in order to take better actions, and the necessary survival kit!
Points covered:
- The lasting and paradoxical elements of change
- A look at indecisiveness. What type of strange bird are you?
- A career change doesn’t have to be radical
- The RIASEC profiles used for career orientation. Perform an initial assessment in stages (as for PCom)
- The four major stages of a successful orientation
- The sources of the feeling of self-efficacy
- Knowing what it is you want and what is stopping you
- A look at entrepreneurship
- A list of helpful websites
