The SKEMA Alumni Prestige Events: a perfect social occasion!

17 December 2018 Events

More than 200 alumni got together in Lille and Paris for the 8th edition of the French Prestige Events, the hottest events of the year. The next ones will take place in Suzhou (China) and Monaco in June 2019.

It’s in the exceptional setting provided by the LaM (the Lille Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art, Contemporary Art and Outsider Art) in Villeneuve d’Ascq and in the sumptuous Longchamp apartment of Salons Hoche in Paris that guests were able to discover the latest news from the school and network, with guided tours, entertainment (photo booth, live music) and convivial cocktails! The events were an opportunity to welcome new participants but also to thank the alumni who play an active role in the network, such as the ambassadors who work alongside us to run the professional events, industry-specific clubs and after-work meetups.

We hope you enjoy looking through the photos of the two events: Lille (view the album) and Paris (view the album)

"SKEMA’s Prestige Events are really a great opportunity for new discoveries, networking, and having a good time. Over the course of the evening I chatted with alumni from the classes of 1987, 1995, 2007... people I never would have met if it weren’t for SKEMA. The strength of our feeling of belonging to the school creates a sense of openness and trust." Marie-Aude Tran, SK 2014, Value Trainer at Valeurs & Valeur, co-ambassador of the SKEMA Alumni Lille Entrepreneurs’ Club.

"Besides the excellence of its academic and vocational programmes, a great school is also defined by its network. More than 42,000 graduates make up SKEMA Alumni and over 12,000 of them are in Paris. These figures speak for themselves! I’ll say it over and over: our school’s biggest strength is us; so let’s all cultivate our communal garden! After having lived for nearly two years in the Aix-Marseille region and organised after-work events there in collaboration with Fabienne and Marielle, I’m happy to have been able to attend my first Parisian Prestige Event. The stunning venue, the high spirits, and Charlène’s meticulous organisation defined my evening: a real success. My only regret is that I wasn’t able to chat to all of the hundred or so alumni present. I hope to be able to remedy this in 2019 as we already have some new plans in the works." Jean-Baptiste Welsch, SK 2015, Key Account Manager France Tork Easy Cube, long-standing SKEMA Alumni ambassador (Aix-Marseille, Paris)
