Special guests at Club Shanghai's last afterwork
On November 14th 2019, a large-scale alumni reunion was held by Club Shanghai at the French bar Kartel, bringing us a wonderful night.
Nearly 50 alumni who are now active in walks of life attended the gathering; some from Shanghai some others from Suzhou and beyond. We also had the honor to receive Matthieu Dumont, Director of SKEMA Suzhou Campus, and Audrey Beaugrand, Corporate Relations Managers on Lille campus.
During the event, Matthieu Dumont made two exciting announcements: SKEMA’s joint EMBA program with Fudan University and SKEMA’s impressive 4th place in the global business school rankings published by the Financial Times. Besides, the newly appointed alumni ambassadors were formally introduced by the historic ambassadors Vincent LEROY and Caroline XING:
- Estelle OUEDRAOGO (SK 2015), Events and Marketing Manager at Kartel Wine Bar
- Yueyao WANG (SK 2014), VP of Marketing and Communication at PVCP China Real Estate Brokerage
The gathering was held in a lively atmosphere, with everyone tasting wine and snacks specially prepared by Kartel, sharing work experience with alumni and networking. Besides, a gathering for Shanghai Alumni on the last Thursday of every month has been proposed, hoping that people could meet regularly, and more alumni could join us in the future.
