Springtime meetup in New York

Growing your network at a unique venue with an architectural design... anything is possible in New York, as we all know! The successful meetup that attracted 15 of our alumni was held on 10 March 2020 at the Royalton Hotel.

To celebrate the arrival of spring, the Club’s two ambassadors, Agnes Ton Van (SK 2016) and Emilie Crouzet (SK 2016), had organised this friendly after-work event at a venue they wanted the alumni to discover. "It was a great surprise, right near Times Square, in a fabulously designed setting. It was just WOW!"

During the evening, our alumni shared tips for discovering the Big Apple, gave advice to the new arrivals ─ like Julie Bourgeois (SK 2008) who had just arrived from Hong Kong ─ and shared the latest news from the USA network. For example, did you know that there are now 203 alumni in New York? And that Marjorie Garçon (SK 2017), a former student from the Raleigh Campus, self-published her first novel, Un Croc dans la Grosse Pomme, in December 2019? It’s a funny and moving account of expatriation.
