SKEMA alumni gets together in Shanghai to visit Villa Basset
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Villa Basset, SKEMA alumni was invited to attend the “Les trois lilloises” event on May 24 and explore the residence of the French Consul in Shanghai.
Aimed at helping extend network, the event also gathered graduates from Edhec Business School and IÉSEG School of Management.
Benoît Guidée, Consul General of France in Shanghai, delivered a welcome speech and expressed his desire to bring closer the alumni community of French business schools.
One of the participants, Céline Wu (SKEMA 2016), looked back on her study experience in France and said with zest: “After all these years, we still feel everything when you are near. Bienvenue à SKEMA, c‘est l’amour pour vous.”
“Even though we are not student-looking any more, we are reunited today with the ‘genes’ of our schools. In addition to the nostalgia of good days in France, we are more confident about the future. We hope that more events like this will be held in the future.” said Fei Ni (SKEMA 2015)
