SKEMA mobilised to support its students

SKEMA United solidarity fund: supporting our students during the health crisis.

SKEMA has an emergency fund in place to help its students experiencing temporary difficulties, but in the current, unprecedented situation caused by the coronavirus the school has decided to do more. Following a first SKEMA United campaign in 2019 to raise funds via a sports challenge for a good cause, today SKEMA is once again mobilising all of its stakeholders to help its students.

Since 17 March, our world has been turned upside down and we have had to adjust to a new ‘normal’. This unprecedented context and the lockdown measures in place have had a major financial impact on a number of students. To help them, SKEMA has decided to mobilise all the stakeholders in its community, namely its alumni, students, employees and partners.

To support these hard-hit students through this difficult time, SKEMA has created a dedicated “SKEMA United” emergency solidarity fund. The aim is to raise €250,000 to be able to allocate 300 grants of one, two or three thousand euros to students experiencing financial hardship.

With the lockdown, solidarity is needed now more than ever. Let us all join forces to help our students and enable them to continue their studies in the best conditions.
