Thibaut Griboval, SK 2011, founder of AION Consulting: management consulting to liberate companies!

Thibaut is a graduate of SKEMA Business School’s Programme Grande Ecole, on the Lille campus. After an internship at the French Ministry of the Armed Forces and a gap year spent working for Airbus, he discovered the world of engineering consulting by joining the AKKA Technologies group in Belgium. There he built up a strong network in sectors such as energy, the automotive industry, pharmaceuticals and aerospace, before taking the helm of the group’s Dutch subsidiary in Eindhoven.

At the same time, he developed various entrepreneurial ventures, including a mobile application, YAH!, that was selected to join the Station F incubator. In 2016, he created Sixty Two, a management consulting firm, and joined TMC Science & Technology as Director for Belgium. Having been bitten by the entrepreneurial bug, in 2018 he launched his new business, AION Consulting, to support companies with their business development and operational strategy. Using a pragmatic, flexible and operational approach, the company aims to assist its clients with improving their business processes, key account management, new product or service creation, and increasing their market share.  In an unstable economy and ultra-competitive markets, AION Consulting also wishes to promote a new way of operating based on holacracy.

Holacracy is a decentralised management method based on collective intelligence and distributing responsibilities and decision-making powers across small groups. By implementing this philosophy using concrete tools, AION Consulting wants to make lasting changes to habits in the sector in order to better fulfil the expectations of the younger generations and of a fast-changing market.

AION Consulting was launched in September 2018 and has already secured some great contracts, as a result of which it can now look to the future with optimism and plan some recruitments in 2019. This is a great opportunity for SKEMA alumni to join an ambitious and innovative entrepreneurial venture!
