Wonderful Encounters with SKEMA Alumni
After the successful post-summer after-work events held in Lille, Paris and Nice, SKEMA Alumni is going to be gathering its alumni for the 2017-2018 Prestige Events. The first is on 30 November in Lille, in the unique setting provided by Villa Cavrois. This will be followed on 13 December by an exceptional evening in Paris, in the vertiginous Montparnasse Tower.

New series of conferences: #AfterSKEMA
On 14 November in Paris, SKEMA will be welcoming Arnaud de Lacoste (SK 1994), CEO of the Acticall Sitell group, which he co-founded with two other alumni (Laurent Uberti and Olivier Camino). In a book entitled Le Seigneur des Robots, he presents the way in which artificial intelligence profoundly changes the way our modern economy functions.

SKEMA VENTURES innovates with glocal entrepreneurship
Focused on the Teaching – Support – Community triad, this support programme is now possible thanks to the facilities SKEMA has put in place at the heart of the entrepreneurship ecosystems of the group’s French, Chinese, American and Brazilian campuses. Because it is contextualised to each campus, our students and alumni can imagine their new venture in Sophia or Raleigh, incubate it in Suzhou or Lille, or accelerate it in Paris or Belo Horizonte.

Spotlight on our industry-specific clubs: Finance & Entrepreneurs
Rich exchanges took place this month: the Finance Club organised a talk about strategic asset allocation by Pierre Schoeffler, advisor to the CEO of La Française (read the article), and the Lille Entrepreneurs’ Club held a round-table about “Altruistic Management and Entrepreneurship” with four experts, including two alumni − François Haimez (SK 1997), CEO of KIABI France, and Eric Mouveaux (SK 1984), CEO of Reflets VIDEO (read the article).
