The Musée des Arts Décoratifs is celebrating the anniversary marking 70 years since the creation of the House of Christian Dior.

This rich and dense exhibition invites visitors to discover the world of its founder and the renowned couturiers who succeeded him: Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons and, most recently, Maria Grazia Chiuri. Emotions, real-life stories, affinities, inspirations, creations and filiations link this selection of over 300 haute couture gowns designed from 1947 to the present day.

Alongside them, and for the first time in such an exhaustive manner, are presented studio paintings and fashion photographs, as well as a selection of the most important works of haute couture.studio canvases and fashion photographs, as well as several hundred documents (illustrations, sketches, reportage photographs, letters and manuscripts, advertising documents, etc.) and fashion objects (hats, jewelry, bags, shoes, perfume bottles, etc.).

And if Christian Dior was also a man of the arts and a lover of museums, more than 70 years of creative work also interact with paintings, furniture and objets d'art. These works underline and extend Christian Dior's vision, exploring the links he forged between couture and all art forms, defining the house's imprint.

A chronological and thematic tour, designed by two curators, Florence Müller and Olivier Gabet, through a privileged 1h30 guided tour followed by a drink for those who wish.
