Pascal Roche

Born on 27 August 1952 in Arras, Pascal graduated from SKEMA in 1974. He is married with two children.
Pascal worked for the Auchan hypermarkets from 1975 to 1999. He began his career “on the shop floor, in customer-facing roles” in management positions: department manager, then sector manager, then he took over running the Boulogne-sur-Mer store in February 1980.
In 1988 he pursued his career with the Auchan group abroad and, over 2 years, participated in the opening of the first Auchan hypermarket in Houston, Texas.
Back in France in 1990, he became head of the Auchan France hypermarkets’ training department. In 1992, he took the helm of the Marketing Department for France at first, and then for Europe.
In June 1999 he joined Boulanger (electrical home appliance retailer) as Director of Operations.
Drawing on his wide-ranging experience, he founded ELECTRO DEPOT France in September 2003, a low-cost subsidiary of the Boulanger group. ELECTRO DEPOT, whose campus is based in Fâches Thumesnil, now has 61 stores in France and employs 1,300 people. ELECTRO DEPOT’s aim is to sell home appliances (small electrical, TV, multimedia) at low prices every day. In January 2015, ELECTRO DEPOT’s structure changed. An entity called ELECTRO DEPOT Group was created and Pascal Roche is at its helm.
Pascal is a marathon runner who loves his sport. His current record is 2h51 (Florence, Italy).
