SKEMA philanthropy brings the community together: a strong finish to the year

01 December 2025 School, Network

Driven by strong engagement across all campuses, SKEMA is ending the year on a high with its philanthropic activities. The Generosity Campaign 2026 is in full swing to help fund scholarships, and Giving Month rallied students, staff and alumni around a shared cause: supporting the student association HOPE. In China, a first campaign launched during Double 11 added to this collective effort in support of international mobility. Three complementary initiatives with a single aim: to create new opportunities for the talent of tomorrow.

SKEMA Generosity Campaign 2026: revealing tomorrow's talent

At the end of every year, the SKEMA community comes together around a shared goal: to give students the means to achieve their ambitions.

That is the spirit behind the SKEMA Generosity Campaign 2026 – Talents d’Avenir initiative, which aims to raise €6 million by 2026 to fund need-based and academic excellence scholarships. In 2024, more than 700 students were able to continue their studies with peace of mind thanks to the generosity of donors.

But the need is growing. Financial pressures (housing, food, health, international mobility) still too often stand in the way of success.

‘Scholarships are not just financial aid; they restore confidence. They allow students to focus on what truly matters: learning, growing, building their future,’ says Anthony Ledru (SKEMA 1995), President & CEO of Tiffany & Co. and member of the SKEMA Board of Directors.

A real impact on students’ lives

‘Revealing talent is our ambition. Each donation offers much more than financial support; it gives students the confidence to believe in themselves and to aim higher,’ explains Alice Guilhon, Dean and Executive President of SKEMA Business School, reminding us that behind every donation there is a face, a story, a journey.

Amyra, a student in Lille, shares: ‘Thanks to the scholarship, I can study with peace of mind, without constantly worrying about money. This support has changed my daily life.’

Liza, an International Business student in Sophia Antipolis, adds:

‘This scholarship is a real vote of confidence. It’s allowing me to plan an exchange in China and build an international career in the luxury sector.’

And Miradie, who studies Finance and Quants between Lille and Suzhou, says:

‘It’s been a real turning point. Thanks to the donors, I can now look forward to starting my own business and making a positive impact.’

The Generosity Campaign 2026 runs until the end of December.

Every contribution, whatever the amount, directly increases our ability to support more students. There’s still time to join this collective wave of generosity and solidarity.

Giving Month: the power of community

Every November, the SKEMA community celebrates Giving Month, a time dedicated to generosity and involvement. This year, the spotlight was on the long-standing humanitarian association HOPE (Humanitarian Organization Promoting Equity). Present across all SKEMA campuses, HOPE carries out humanitarian work from Togo to Peru, and from Cambodia to Madagascar.

Double 11: a pilot campaign that struck a chord

This year also marked a first: the launch of a 100% China-based donation campaign. The initiative took place in early November during Double 11, better known as Singles’ Day. The idea? To turn this major e-commerce day into a moment of generosity.

Hosted on WeChat, the campaign invited the Chinese community to take part in a simple yet symbolic challenge: 1,800 alumni and friends each donating €11.11 to support international mobility grants, with the option to double their impact by giving €22.22.

The initiative sparked real excitement, with dozens of donors supporting SKEMA for the very first time. It has laid the groundwork for a new model of engagement for our community in Asia. This promising start confirms the growing global momentum of donor support during SKEMA’s year-end campaigns.

A heartfelt thank-you to all donors for their record involvement this year.
