21 July 2025 School

On July 5, SKEMA Business School welcomed over 3,000 graduates and some 5,000 accompanying adults from its French and international campuses to its annual graduation ceremony, held in the spectacular setting of La Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt.

This class, supported by the collective, was celebrated in a speech by Alice Guilhon, SKEMA's Managing Director. She praised the richness and diversity of the graduates' backgrounds, and emphasized the central role played by their training in the face of today's changing world: "You have been a top-quality graduating class, with a great deal of diversity and unique backgrounds that have enriched our school. "

She then invited the graduates to take full measure of the contemporary challenges and the role they will have to play in them: "You are entering a world that is evolving at a frenetic pace. We hope that SKEMA has accompanied you so that, thanks to your experiences and the education you have received, you can contribute to this hyper-evolving world. Your impact will move the lines. "

Jean-Philippe Courtois, Chairman of SKEMA's Board of Directors and a senior executive at Microsoft, stressed the importance of staying connected to the alumni community - a vector of friendship and lasting commitment. Reflecting on his own journey as an alumnus, he declared: "As an alumnus of SKEMA (1983, editor's note), I know the extent to which our graduating class has not only remained united by friendship, but has also been deeply involved in the creation of SKEMA and its worldwide development. "

Benjamin Ferré (SKEMA 2015) guest of honor: when personal adventure becomes a source of collective inspiration

Guest of honor, Benjamin Ferré (SKEMA 2015) gave a touching speech that echoed the emotion of the graduates: " 5 months after my return from the Vendée Globe, I share an emotion that must be similar to yours today: that feeling of accomplishment and at the same time that sweet anxiety of a blank page just waiting to be written. "

Calling on the power of the network, Benjamin retraced his journey of adventures and encounters, stressing the importance of cultivating one's difference, listening to one's intuition and defining one's own trajectory: "Your diploma is your dock, and today we're celebrating your launch. So set out, dare, try. If you want to experience things you've never experienced, do things you've never done."

63,000 graduates, 100 nationalities: a living network, embodied by its emblematic members.

The Class of 2025 was welcomed into the alumni network by several well-known members of the alumni community, whose backgrounds illustrate the richness of the network:

Wiçal Moubaker (SKEMA 2018), Emerging markets solutions - Structuring, JP Morgan, London: " The more involved we are, the stronger the network becomes. It benefits us all. "

Anthony Ledru (SKEMA 1995), President and CEO, Tiffany & Co, New York: " With 63,000 alumni, the strike force is enormous. Absolutely everyone can contribute to strengthening SKEMA through this network. Besides, you can't succeed in your professional life without helping others to succeed in theirs. "

Mathieu Merian (SKEMA 2026), Founder and CEO, Somanity My 3D France, Sophia Antipolis: " Pass on the passion for entrepreneurship. Transmit that it's possible: yes, we're building companies that are changing the world."

Anthony Cirot (SKEMA 2000), Vice President EMEA South, Google Cloud, Paris: " There's a lot of exchange through the alumni community. That's what you learn at school, the importance of cultivating your network."

Ludovic de Valon (SKEMA 2009), Director & General Manager, Amazon Ads, New York: " The alumni network is one of the school's best assets for graduates over the long term. It's a springboard for professional development. "

The day also served as a reminder of the importance of a solid, lively network as a springboard for professional and personal success. With 63,000 graduates from a wide range of backgrounds, the SKEMA community continues to grow and to support each and every one of us in building our future.
