Interview

Heidi Vioux (SKEMA 1994), Ambassador of the Nantes Chapter

12 November 2024 Interview

Could you tell us a little about your journey since graduating from SKEMA Business School and what motivated you to become an ambassador of the SKEMA Alumni Nantes Chapter?

After graduating from SKEMA in 1994, I started my career at Abbey National France as Financial Advisor Manager. This role gave me a solid foundation in customer relationship management and consulting. In 2000, I joined Teleperformance France as Teleservices Director. This experience marked a turning point, pushing me towards a more global understanding of customer satisfaction on a large scale.

In 2003, I joined Redcats Senior Brands as Customer Relations Director, and four years later, I took over as head of print and web communications, working in a sector that was undergoing rapid digital transformation. But my passion for human contact soon caught up with me: since 2011, I've also been running En Tout & Pour Vous, where I work as a certified coach, a profession that allows me to support other professionals in their careers and help them grow.

After 20 years of working between Paris and Lille, I moved to Nantes in 2011. That's when Audrey Touyon, the SKEMA Alumni coordinator, contacted me and asked me to become an ambassador for the Nantes chapter. I enthusiastically accepted, motivated by the idea of expanding my professional network in this new region and, who knows, maybe finding enriching collaborations and even personal affinities.

As ambassador, how do you plan to bring energy and life to the Nantes chapter? Can you share any ideas for initiatives or for events you’d like to run?

For me, running a local chapter is first and foremost about creating strong links around our professions and skills. I'd like to explore the idea of 'job clubs' where alumni can discuss their specialities, share experiences and, why not, create synergies between different sectors. This would be an opportunity for some to discover new professions or meet inspiring leaders from our SKEMA network.

To bring these exchanges to life, I could also imagine more informal events, like a picnic on Ile de Versailles or at Les Machines de l'Île. These emblematic places in Nantes would be perfect for socialising and networking in a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can learn about each other's backgrounds.

What message would you like to send to our alumni to encourage them to join and become actively involved in the SKEMA Alumni Nantes Chapter?

If you're looking to expand your professional network, learn about possible opportunities, or even meet new people with whom you share common interests and values, the Nantes chapter is for you! The more of us there are, the richer and more dynamic our network will be. Join us and become part of an active and caring community, ready to welcome you and grow together!
