Podcast “MAKES SENSE?”: alumni join the adventure for season 2
Launched in June 2023, SKEMA Business School's "MAKES SENSE?" podcast has established itself as an original and recognized format, blending academic expertise and pop culture. Films, TV series, superheroes, works of art and societal trends have become the keys to understanding management, law, finance and marketing. This year, it is evolving to give a voice to graduates.
With 19 guest teachers since its launch, the podcast has won over a loyal audience: more than 45,000 cumulative listens and a rapidly growing momentum. This success has been recognized with two national awards:
- 2023: Silver Award at the Grand Prix Stratégies de la communication éditoriale
- 2024: 2ᵉ place at the Grand Prix de la Créativité Podcast (Paris Podcast Festival Pro, "best education and training podcast" category).
A new dynamic for season 2
"MAKES SENSE? has just launched its second season, now 100% Alumni. The podcast invites graduates, selected for their expertise, to share their professional views on major societal issues, always linked to a pop culture reference. The format of the episodes has evolved. While the alumni interview remains the main focus, it is supplemented at the end of each episode by a theoretical insight from host Kevin Erkeletyan.
Episode 1: Candice Gauch (SKEMA 2022), Barbie and the question of beauty
For its 20ᵉ episode, "MAKES SENSE?" welcomes Candice Gauch, consultant at PwC, graduate of the Master in Management (PGE) and MSc International Strategy & Influence. In this episode entitled "Barbie: is beauty a talent?" Candice our alumna AND Miss Paris 2025, questions representations of beauty, their influence in society and their link with self-confidence, performance and professional success.
Future episodes will be broadcast on a bimonthly basis and will feature two episodes in English in this new season.
