The concept of the Digital Drink?
Hosted in a graduate's business premises, the evening begins with a 10-minute presentation on a digital topic before networking over an aperitif. For this 5th meeting, Antoine Spadoni (SK 2004), Founder and CEO of Socialshaker, will welcome you to his premises, and Gabriel Videira (SK 2004) will talk about webanalytics.

Your speaker Gabriel Videira (SK 2004), Managing Director & Co-founder of Bee 4,introduces himself:

Can you tell us about your background?

I graduated from SKEMA in 2004, back when it was still called ESC Lille! I graduated with a specialization in Consumer Goods Marketing. When I left, I started at Unilever as Assistant Product Manager, importing a few products from Portugal for distribution in France. I soon moved into webmarketing, working for digital agencies, and in 2008/09 I set up my first agency specializing in traffic acquisition and webanalytics, as a subsidiary of a web agency. In 2012, we became independent and set up my current agency Bee4, specializing in traffic acquisition (SEO, Adwords, Display), conversion and web analytics.

How has studying at SKEMA helped you in your career?

It was an asset on several counts... It helped me to launch my career, to get into the companies I was targeting... It gave me a strong culture and knowledge of marketing, and then the network... Many of my classmates are now professional partners.

I particularly appreciated the sandwich course, which enabled me to immerse myself quickly in business issues.

What are your best memories of school?

Not everything can be told... in fact, the best memories can only be shared in small groups! But I loved the BDS (Ulteam) era... and the last year was pretty crazy.

Do you have any advice for graduates interested in working in your field?

The digital professions are undergoing profound changes, with many segmentations and hyper-specializations. It's moving fast and all the time, and it's clear that there are great career opportunities both in agencies and with advertisers... In fact, even if the goal is to work with an advertiser, it's a real asset to do a little agency work beforehand.
