An evening on the water: time stood still for the Lille network on 14 June 2018!

“All in the same boat” aboard the Eldorado for over 2 hours of cruising along the Deûle in Lille (see the photo album here)!

Immediate boarding for an original networking event combining conviviality, discoveries, and a chance for regular event attendees and newcomers from the classes of 1985 to today to meet!
It was an opportunity for Franck Hanoh (SK 1990), manager of SKEMA Ventures Lille, to present the programme (see the blog) dedicated to entrepreneurship and aimed at students and alumni, and to allow Alaude Lefebvre and Paul-Marc Santelli, 2 young entrepreneurs, winners of the student Bootcamp, to present their venture, “Les Sublimeurs”*!
Géry Lesaffre (SK 1987), CEO of PICTO Lille and alumni-ambassador of the Belgium club, joined us, as did Raphaël Robil (SK 2007), CEO of Lemon Interactive and VP of SKEMA Alumni Lille. We’d like to thank them for their involvement in this vast cross-border network! (Our network includes 40,000 alumni around the world, of which 20% are outside of France. There are 5,000 alumni in the Hauts-de-France region and some thirty networking, business and career-focused events are held in the north).

An evening where time stood still, an opportunity to disconnect and change pace to make it possible for “great school memories to surface”, “to maintain and reinforce the strong bonds between class mates” or to give advice and share the entrepreneurial and managerial experience gathered in the region’s SMEs and big companies, some of which are undergoing radical changes.
