Alix Lemaire (SKEMA 2022), Ambassador of the Supply Chain Business Club

Could you briefly tell us about your career since graduating from SKEMA and what motivated you to become an ambassador for the Supply Chain Business Club

After graduating in 2022 from an engineering school and in 2023 from the MS MCLA, I joined Leroy Merlin on a permanent basis as a project manager.
Initially, I worked in the stores department, where I was tasked with making store logistics more efficient and optimizing the reliability of our store inventories in order to satisfy our customers. For the last 6 months, I've been in charge of warehouse logistics operations, my main mission being to optimize storage while maintaining the efficiency of each employee. Becoming an ambassador for the supply chain business club is an opportunity to showcase the logistics professions. It's also a chance to exchange ideas with people from different backgrounds, and to share our views on topical issues.

How do you plan to energize and enliven the Supply Chain Business Clubn of which you are the ambassador? Could you share a few ideas for events or initiatives you'd like to put in place?

Running a trade club is a big responsibility. The strength of the collective that's being created will lie in its diversity and its ability to mobilize operational and organizational knowledge, to which I can't wait to contribute! The aim is to bring together junior and more experienced professionals to discuss the future challenges facing the supply chain.

What message would you like to pass on to our alumni to encourage them to join and become actively involved in the Supply Chain Business Club?

Supply chain is at the heart of today's major economic, technological and environmental challenges. It is a major pillar of the company and an inexhaustible source of continuous improvement. Joining our club means becoming part of a dynamic community where we share concrete experiences, best practices and unique opportunities. It's a place where passionate professionals and experts meet to grow together, stay at the cutting edge and have an impact on the future of our businesses.
