New Year Brunch in Beijing : A great success with more than 20 attendees !
Saturday 13th of January – SKEMA Alumni Beijing Ambassadors, Difei Ren and Clément Barrau, organized a New Year Brunch at Niajo, a Spanish restaurant in Sanlitun. The event received a great success with the attendance of more than 20 participants and among them, several new faces, as well as a SKEMA Alumni couple, Vanessa and Bastien (both SK 2014)* (read more about this below) !
We were also very pleased to welcome Dr Xulong DAI (SK Phd 2015), Ambassador, Ministry of Foreign Affaires in Beijing. His book "China Global Business Strategy" was a great success !

This networking event offered a reunion opportunity for previous classmates to catch up, and more importantly, it gave new alumni a warm welcome from the Alumni family. Over sangria and paella, participants recalled their experiences in France and shared their current life & working experiences in China. It has also been a perfect occasion to discuss about job opportunities and suggestions on career!
Last but not the least, the Alumni were all very motivated to contribute their suggestion and idea for future reunions. Let’s start looking forward to the next session!

I was on business trip in the capital for a wind turbine exhibition. Coincidence of the calendar, a Skema alumni event was organized in Beijing at that time, an after-work at Parlor lounge. I registered in and Vanessa was there ! |

There was very little chance as both of us were working in different cities Shanghai/Beijing.The interest for our school and its community allowed us to meet each other. Thanks Skema; Skema alumni events & Organizers ;) |

Amazingly we were both graduated in 2014. We began our Skema path at the same period in September 2011 but it was only in China after graduation that we met ! It shows us how much Skema is an international business school with a lot of students worldwide, and the interest of keeping in touch with Skema Alumni community, sometimes for the best |
