Clarisse N'Guiambo (SKEMA 2015), Ambassador of the Supply Chain Business Club
Could you briefly tell us about your career since graduating from SKEMA and what motivated you to become an ambassador for the Supply Chain Business Club ?
Since graduating from SKEMA Business School, I've worked for major international groups. I first worked as a Demand Planner for 5 years in Luxembourg, for KETER, a manufacturer of home products and garden furniture. I set up the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process, as well as the Demand Planning function for the Export zone. I also worked in Export Sales, organizing international and multimodal transport.
I then joined Wabtec in Paris, an international group with 27,000 employees worldwide, manufacturing rail equipment for operators and manufacturers, for passenger and freight transport. My first position was that of Central Planning Manager, with the implementation of Supply Chain best practices at some fifteen industrial sites (inventory management, Sales & Operations Planning, Forecasting, digitalization). Then, at the beginning of 2025, I took up the post of WEMEA Regional Demand Manager, which involves auditing and optimizing Supply Chain flows in the WEMEA region. I work on improving industrial planning and coordinating a network of local Demand Planners. I'm at the crossroads of different key functions: sales, purchasing, marketing and production.
I wanted to become an ambassador for the Supply Chain Club, so that I could meet other SKEMA alumni in similar positions. Several years after graduating from SKEMA Lille, I'm still involved in the life of the school and I want to share my experience with the younger generation.
How do you see your role as ambassador for the Supply Chain Business Club? Could you share a few ideas for events or initiatives you'd like to put in place?
I'd like to animate the club, by proposing exchanges around current Supply Chain themes (Artificial Intelligence, resilience, geopolitical dynamics).
I'd like to bring in a panel of alumni from a variety of functions. With the diversity of the business sectors, I'm convinced that the exchanges will be enriching and exciting.
What message would you like to pass on to alumni to encourage them to join and become actively involved in the Supply Chain Business Club?
I'd like to encourage alumni to join our Supply Chain Club, so that they can continue to learn about the ever-changing Supply Chain function, and keep abreast of the latest trends.
