30 September 2024 Career

Relaunched last year with great success, the SKEMA Alumni Mentoring programme has attracted a large number of alumni and students, uniting them around the values of sharing, mutual support and transmission. It is so popular that the SKEMA Alumni Career Service is now offering two new sessions for 2024-2025: one from October to March 2024, and another from February to July 2025.

SKEMA Alumni Mentoring is all about connecting ambition and experience. This programme offers the members of our community an opportunity to forge important connections, while fostering personal and professional growth. Whether you’re looking to share your enriching experiences, develop new skills, or explore a new sector or role, mentoring can be a real step change.

Β

One year after relaunching the programme, the results are very positive:Β

The feedback from participants has been just as positive. According to Lauriane Bertrand (SKEMA 2000), a mentor during the 2023-2024 session: β€œIt is not only professionally beneficial, but also personally enriching. We learn together, while expanding our knowledge of our professions and our personal aspirations.” On the mentee side, Evrard Angotchi Beyela (SKEMA 2019) said: β€œThe mentoring programme allowed me to take stock of my professional situation, receive advice and benefit from a sympathetic ear.”

Β

How does it work?Β

Β

Registration for the mentoring programme is via the SKEMA Alumni platform during the recruitment campaigns organised twice a year (September and January).Β

There are 3 key steps in the mentoring process: registration, pair matching, and then the 6-month session.
