Thibaut Griboval (SKEMA 2011), Ambassador of the Belgiam Chapter
Can you tell us a little about your career since graduating from SKEMA Business School and what motivated you to become an ambassador for the Belgian Chapter?
Since graduating from SKEMA, I've never stopped doing business. I've been lucky enough to set up several companies in Europe - France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg - and today I run AION Consulting, a strategy consulting firm dedicated to transforming organizations. I've also invested in a number of start-ups, because I love supporting projects that make sense and have a real impact.
I decided to become an ambassador for Club Belgique because I believe 100% in the power of networking. There are several hundred alumni here, in the heart of Europe, with enormous potential to create synergies, business and ideas. And all in a convivial atmosphere, of course!
How do you plan to energize and enliven the local Belgium Chapter of which you are an ambassador? Could you share a few ideas for events or initiatives you'd like to put in place?
My aim is to make the Belgium club a real business and human hub. A place where it's fun to get together, exchange ideas, help each other out and get inspired.
Here are a few potential ideas to explore with other alumni:
- Afterworks in cool Brussels venues
- Themed breakfasts (entrepreneurship, AI, marketing, finance, etc.)
- Visits to European institutions, as already organized in the past by Virginie Roussel, or to inspiring companies.
- A "Pitch & Connect" format to boost alumni projects
- An active whatsapp group to keep in touch and share news
The aim is for everyone to find something of interest: professional, personal, fun, or all at once!
What message would you like to pass on to our alumni to encourage them to join and get actively involved in the Belgian Chapter?
If you're a SKEMA alumni in Belgium, we need you! Whatever your background, your job or your age, the club is a place to bond, feel supported, or just have a good time with like-minded people.
