With the intervention of Melea PRESS, SKEMA Professor

Language: English (part 1) & French (part 2, testimonial). Q&A in French or English

Melea Press talk will focus on how managers disrupt business as usual within their firms and integrate a sustainability program into their organizations. Specifically, she will discuss the use of narrative strategies to build legitimacy for sustainability programs. Such new programs often mean that employees must learn and engage in a host of new behaviors, including adopting new criteria for making decisions, communicating with management and other stakeholders, and carrying out their daily tasks . Melea will provide several examples of how firms have navigated the struggle of adopting sustainability programs across several industries, including consumer goods, publishing, home building, and business consulting. In addition, she will address the arduous process of building and implementing clear and actionable policies to support sustainability goals.
