Baby-foot Stella, almost 100 years of history
The Stella story began in 1928, when Auguste Sarrault, President of the French Automatic Games Federation, founded Stella in Paris.
Thus was born an artisanal company specializing in traditional coffee games. 4 rue Scipion in Paris ...and with a certain originality, since its name is also that of the founder's daughter!
Stella branded table soccer, power games and counter games began to invade and decorate cafés and guinguettes. Stella then became a "northerner", setting up shop in Oye-Plage in the 60's. It was during this period, the heyday of the "30 glorieuses", that STELLA built its reputation. All the cafés (gathering places for all generations) in the Nord and neighbouring departments were equipped with STELLA foosball tables.
A multi-generational game, it was a real social network before its time, creating a friendly, relaxed and lively atmosphere in these places of exchange and sharing!
Faithful to its values and to its roots in the Hauts de France region, Stella is committed to continuing to produce foosball tables and billiard tables in the traditional, artisanal way. With a focus on quality and a wide range of customization options.
In fact, it's now possible to have a foosball table "made in your image" just the way you want it!
Every year, between 2,500 and 3,000 foosball tables and billiards tables are designed, produced and assembled in STELLA's Tourcoing workshops. Nearly 20% of this production is destined for export.
Concerned about its social and ecological impact, Stella guarantees to respect certain commitments. All the wood used in the manufacture of soccer tables and billiards comes from sustainably managed forests. To ensure quality wood sourcing, the company relies on recognized certifications: PEFC and FSC. To limit greenhouse gas emissions caused by transport, Stella also chooses to source its raw materials mainly from local partners.
A 208 graduate of Msc Global Luxury And Management, Jackye worked in the fashion and technology sectors in Paris before taking over the family-owned Autocars LAPAGE.
