Btissam Belghazi (SKEMA 2005), Ambassador of the Casablanca Chapter
Could you tell us a little about your journey since graduating from SKEMA Business School and what motivated you to become an ambassador of the SKEMA Alumni Casablanca Chapter?
After graduating from SKEMA Business School in 2005, I started my career as an auditor with Mazars in France, where I spent five years developing a solid expertise in finance and business management. Driven by a desire to contribute to the economic development of my country, I decided to return to Morocco in 2010, with the firm belief that it was a land of opportunity.
I then joined a major player in the sugar industry as International Business Development and Export Operations Manager. For eight years, this position allowed me to work on major projects and promote Moroccan industrial know-how on the international stage. Building on this experience, I continued my commitment to consulting and entrepreneurship by founding 1/ TBB e-Corp, specialised in FinTech related to eSports, 2/ Stratellis Consulting, specialised in coaching entrepreneurs and 3/ BBFC SARL, specialised in improving the employability of seniors and active retirees.
In parallel, I have had the honour of holding strategic positions as Managing Director of the Ordre des Experts-Comptables (the Moroccan Institute of Chartered Accountants) and Advisor to the Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills of the Kingdom of Morocco, contributing to economic development policies and structuring the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Driven by an innovative vision, I combine my multidisciplinary skills with my role as a “mompreneur”, inventor and trainer/lecturer, sharing my experience to inspire and support entrepreneurs with ambition, daring and resilience.
Becoming an ambassador for the Casablanca chapter was an obvious choice for me, as I deeply embrace the values of sharing, excellence and innovation that drive this community. My career has taught me that networking and knowledge sharing are essential levers for success. As an ambassador, I want to play an active role in bringing together talented individuals, creating synergies and inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders.
As an ambassador, how do you plan to revitalise and energise the SKEMA Alumni Casablanca Chapter? Do you have any ideas for initiatives or events you'd like to run?
As an ambassador, my aim is to energise the chapter by making it a space for interaction, inspiration and opportunity for its members. My approach is based on three pillars: connect, learn and take action.
1. Connect: foster synergies and networking
- Exclusive gatherings with entrepreneurs, experts and leaders from a wide range of sectors, to share ideas and experiences.
- Mentoring and peer learning: set up a mentoring programme where experienced members can share their knowledge and expertise with talented junior members.
- After-work events and business retreats in inspiring settings, to encourage strategic discussions and create opportunities for collaboration.
2. Learn: develop skills and stimulate innovation
- Conferences and masterclasses with well-respected speakers, to explore key trends such as innovation, leadership and entrepreneurship.
- Practical workshops on topics such as digital transformation, funding a business or expanding abroad.
- Chapter think-tank to analyse industry challenges and propose concrete solutions.
3. Take action: from idea to impact
- Hackathons and entrepreneurial challenges to encourage the development of innovative projects within the chapter.
- Investment club: create a collaborative investment dynamic where members can financially support promising initiatives.
- Social impact programme to mentor young entrepreneurs and develop projects that promote economic inclusion.
My ambition is to make this chapter an ecosystem where every member can find inspiration, support and opportunities to grow and succeed.
What message would you like to send to our alumni to encourage them to join and become actively involved in the SKEMA Alumni Casablanca Chapter?
The Casablanca chapter is much more than a network: when you join, you become part of a dynamic community where exchange, sharing and mutual support are at the heart of every interaction.
As SKEMA Business School alumni, we have all followed rich and varied career paths, and it's precisely this diversity that makes us so strong. The chapter is a unique opportunity to build lasting relationships, gain access to exclusive opportunities and benefit from a stimulating ecosystem for professional and personal development.
By becoming an active member, you'll be able to:
✅ Expand your network by connecting with influential and inspiring professionals,
