Heidi Vioux (SKEMA 1994), Ambassador of the Nantes Chapter

12 November 2024 Interview

Could you briefly tell us about your career since graduating from SKEMA Business School and what motivated you to become an ambassador for the SKEMA Alumni Nantes chapter?

After graduating from SKEMA in 1994, I began my career at Abbey National France, where I held the position of Financial Advisor Manager. This role enabled me to develop a solid foundation in customer relationship management and consulting. Then, in 2000, I joined Teleperformance France as Director of Telecommunications Services. This experience marked a turning point, pushing me towards a more global understanding of large-scale customer satisfaction.

In 2003, I joined Redcats Senior Brands as Director of Customer Relations, and four years later, I took charge of print and web communications, evolving in a sector undergoing rapid digital transformation. But my passion for the human touch soon caught up with me: since 2011, I've also been the manager of "En Tout & Pour Vous", where I work as a certified coach, an activity that enables me to support other professionals in their careers and help them to grow.

After 20 years working between Paris and Lille, I moved to Nantes in 2011. That's when Audrey Touyon, SKEMA Alumni Coordinator, contacted me to ask me to become an ambassador for the SKEMA Alumni Nantes chapter. I accepted enthusiastically, motivated by the idea of developing my professional network in this new region and, who knows, finding enriching collaborations and even personal affinities.

How do you plan to energize and animate the SKEMA Alumni Nantes chapter of which you are the ambassador? Could you share a few ideas for events or initiatives you'd like to put in place?

For me, running a local chapter means above all creating strong links around our professions and skills. I'd like to explore the idea of "job clubs" so that alumni can discuss their specialties, share feedback and, why not, create synergies between different sectors. This would be an opportunity for some to discover new professions or meet inspiring leaders from our SKEMA network.

To bring these exchanges to life, I also imagine more informal events, such as a picnic on the Ile de Versailles or at the Machines de l'Île. These emblematic Nantes locations would be perfect for moments of conviviality and exchange, where everyone could relax while learning about each other's backgrounds.

What message would you like to pass on to alumni to encourage them to join and get actively involved in the Nantes chapter?

If you're looking to expand your professional network, keep an eye out for opportunities, or even meet new people with whom you can share common values and interests, the SKEMA Alumni Nantes chapter is for you! The more of us there are, the richer and more dynamic our network will be. Join us and become part of an active and caring community, ready to welcome you and grow together!
