Quentin Perbet-Verniau (SKEMA 2011), Ambassador of the Nantes Chapter
I graduated from the Grande École Program, specializing in Business Law, in 2011 on the Lille campus. Afterwards, I passed the entrance exam to the Bar School, which I attended in Rennes. I was sworn in as a lawyer in 2013.
My professional experiences led me to work in law firms in Rennes, in the Atlanta area (USA), in Paris, then in Nantes. I joined Parthema in 2016 and became a partner in 2023. Today, I mainly support start-ups and SMEs (located mainly in Western France and Paris) in corporate law, covering areas such as legal advice, mergers and acquisitions, financing (particularly fund-raising), and corporate structuring.
When I moved to Nantes, I felt the need to reconnect with SKEMA, a school I'd lost touch with during my training as a lawyer. A local chapter had just been set up in Nantes. I attended one of the very first events and very quickly offered to become an ambassador. On that occasion, I met Audrey Touyon, SKEMA Alumni coordinator, who supported me and with whom we are working to maintain and revitalize links with Nantes alumni on a regular basis.
How do you plan to energize and animate the SKEMA Alumni Nantes chapter of which you are the ambassador? Could you share a few ideas for events or initiatives you'd like to put in place?
With the Covid-related break, the Nantes chapter had to be relaunched. Our recent events, and especially the last one, have helped to re-energize the chapter. Our aim is to maintain this momentum by organizing regular and varied events, in order to bring together as many alumni as possible and encourage exchanges and networking.
What message would you like to pass on to alumni to encourage them to join and become actively involved in the SKEMA Alumni Nantes chapter?
If you've enjoyed the last few Alumni get-togethers in Nantes, come and help us create new moments of quality and conviviality! Your contribution will help our network grow and enrich the experience for everyone.
