Célia Senger Louaisil (SKEMA 2012), Entrepreneurs Business Club Ambassador
Could you briefly tell us about your career since graduating from SKEMA and what motivated you to become an ambassador for the Entrepreneurs Business Club?
After graduating from SKEMA's Business Law and Management double major in 2012, I began my career in the Legal Department of the Safran group, where I worked as a lawyer for seven years.
I then expatriated to the United States for three years: in New York, I worked for French Tech NYC, where I led a community of 500 French entrepreneurs looking to enter the American market. This experience made me aware of the power of mutual aid and opened me up to an Anglo-Saxon approach to networking, which deeply inspired me to create Comète.
Since my return to France at the end of 2020, I've been devoting myself to Comète, the community I co-founded to support women leaders in their professional and personal development. In five years, we have already supported over 500 women leaders and future leaders. Our raison d'être is to activate the power of the collective to reveal the full potential of women leaders.
For me, entrepreneurship remains both the most demanding and the most rewarding professional experience I've ever had.
Becoming an ambassador for the SKEMA Alumni Entrepreneurs Club is an opportunity to unite alumni entrepreneurs, promote the sharing of experience, create synergies and encourage everyone to share as much as he or she can receive, in a virtuous spirit of mutual aid between peers.
How do you plan to energize and enliven the Entrepreneurs Business Club as an ambassador? Could you share a few ideas for events or initiatives you'd like to put in place?
I'd like the club to become a place for inspiring encounters and genuine exchanges. To achieve this, I see several complementary formats:
-
Testimonials from SKEMA entrepreneurs, to share their experiences, successes and lessons learned.
-
Practical workshops to give members concrete tools.
-
Convivial networking events to strengthen ties between members of the community.
-
Links with other SKEMA clubs to encourage synergies.
My objective is clear: to create a space where everyone feels encouraged, supported and inspired in their entrepreneurial journey.
What message would you like to pass on to current and future club members?
Above all, entrepreneurship is a human adventure made up of resilience, creativity, encounters and support. Daring to undertake also means adopting a mindset that opens doors, transforms ideas into concrete projects and encounters into lasting partnerships.
My message to our members is simple: enjoy yourself. You never learn as much as from your peers, and the power of a mutual support network is incomparable. The Club is there to be a support point, a source of inspiration and a gas pedal of connections. I also want it to become a space open to both male and female entrepreneurs.
