A joyous and emotional 40-year reunion for the PGE Class of ‘83!
On 24 June, the alumni of the Class of 1983 gathered for the day on the Sophia-Antipolis campus, to celebrate the anniversary of their graduating class many years and quite some achievements later!
It’s 40 years since this group of students warmed the benches of the former CERAM, so it was definitely time for them to see one another again!
In the presence of Alice Guilhon, Dean & Executive President of SKEMA Business School, Jean-Philippe Courtois (SKEMA 1983), Chairman of SKEMA's Board of Directors, and Denis Boissin, Director of the Master in Management programme (PGE), our alumni were welcomed for a ceremony during which they were presented with diplomas as souvenirs. It was a convivial day all about reconnecting with old friends.
In a festive, memory-filled atmosphere, the celebration started in the morning on the SKEMA campus in Sophia-Antipolis, then continued in the afternoon with a pétanque tournament in Juan-les-Pins. In the evening, the group had dinner in Nice on the stunning rooftop of the Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel.
Our alumni had a great time:
"A great day of catching up, filled with emotion and pride in belonging to SKEMA" - Jean-Philippe
"Thank you for this anniversary, which far exceeded my expectations. It was so nice to catch up with long-lost friends" - Pierre
"A powerful moment with the feeling of not having aged and of meeting again as if we'd never left each other" - Corinne
A powerful and unforgettable moment for each of them! The event was a real success and reminded us just how important the network is.
Everyone left with the hope of meeting again soon.
