Thomas Campion (SKEMA 2009), Ambassador of the Zurich Chapter
Could you tell us a little about your journey since graduating from SKEMA Business School and what motivated you to become an ambassador of the SKEMA Alumni Zurich Chapter?
Since graduating from SKEMA Business School in 2009, my career has been an exciting adventure with diverse experiences in different industries and countries. I started out in France as a Business Manager for IT consultancies. I then moved to Switzerland, where I founded a consulting company dedicated to helping luxury watch brands with their marketing strategies and sponsorship projects in the motorsports sector.
As an expat, I quickly realised the value of a strong, close-knit community. I decided to become an ambassador for the local Zurich chapter to foster professional and personal connections, and create a network where everyone can support and uplift each other.
As ambassador, how do you plan to bring energy and life to the Zurich chapter? Can you share any ideas for initiatives or for events you’d like to run?
Of course, informal get-togethers over a drink are always fun, but as SKEMA graduates, we have a powerful network. My aim is to create environments where we don't just meet, but collaborate, share knowledge and open up opportunities for each other. This could include networking events with exclusive access to prestigious Zurich venues, corporate cocktail parties, or small-group roundtables with industry leaders.
What message would you like to send to our alumni to encourage them to join and become actively involved in the SKEMA Alumni Zurich Chapter?
Networking isn't just about finding a job; it's an investment in your future. By joining the Zurich chapter, you'll build valuable relationships today that can open unexpected doors tomorrow, whether you're looking for your next career opportunity or a new friendship.
